In February, 200 unemployed people came in my jewelry store for free necklaces. I saw anguish, fear and depression. Men and women alike broke down in tears when they received their necklace. Their stories moved me to greater depths of compassion, and the widespread public need I witnessed compelled me to get others involved.
So I created Share Ring, a network of retailers giving away free necklaces to the unemployed, and also selling necklaces to the employed, where 100% of the profits are donated to charity.
One person, doing a simple act of kindness, inspires another, which inspires another. Together, we can make a difference,
