Come join speakers Andrea Vargas and Florencia Ramirez as they talk about their passions, motivations, and water conservation efforts at Fox Fine Jewelry on May 3, 2018 from 6-7pm.
Florencia Ramirez has dedicated much of her life to researching water conservation farming techniques and finding ways to be more water-conscious when grocery shopping. Author of Eat Less Water, she will educate the audience about ways they can positively contribute to water conservation by making wise choices when it comes to eating food.
Andrea Vargas is a talented local artist known for her courageous renditions of life and diverse works of art. She is an expert on creative thinking and will speak about her motivations and methods when creating art.
This talk is in conjunction with Cinco de Mayo, which is about honoring the ability for ordinary people to persevere with courage despite challenges. As Latina women, Vargas and Ramirez have lived their passion which has led to the creation of beauty, inspiration, and a positive movement.
