Position Overview:

Part time to start with the opportunity to grow into 40 hours per week.


Display jewelry, cleaning, organizing, basic clerical computer work, tag jewelry, assist with art hanging and special events. Hours are 4 – 5 mornings per week. May develop into assisting clients or a full time sales associate.

Primary Tasks:

  • Opening procedures: put out jewelry, organize and restock supplies, tidy store. Must be able to lift 20 pounds to shoulder height.
  • Jewelry display and inventory assistant: Assist with entering inventory, clean, tag and display jewelry, put out price signs.
  • Cleaning: windex jewelry cases, swiffer, dust, laundry, trash, and assorted other tasks required to keep the store spotless!
  • Clerical work: alphabetize and file, other light clerical duties, post office and bank runs.
  • Special events: assist with set up, platter preparation, and during event.
  • Backup sales: greet customers, handle simple transactions.  

Requirements

  • Meticulous attention to detail, careful and clean!
  • Independent worker with a positive attitude (we’re a family here)
  • Able to lift 20 pounds
  • Moderate computer skills
